Seanna's Thoughts

This long-sleeve shirt I need not wear
For everybody knows
What Seanna has done to herself,
And every time it shows.

The lie that sits behind my lips
I may as well not say
It's pointless to just tell a lie,
No one else cares anyway.

I wish I never said a word
Or let those scars be seen
I wish I was the only one
Who knew Seanna's injuries.

The razor blade has gone away
But its just a matter of time
'til I have the metal in my hand
And ready to call it mine!

I thought nothing of it
'til I looked in Brandon's eyes
Focused sadly on my skin,
On my stinging red-thread lines.

I'm trying not to do it,
But time is wearing thin
I gotta find that razor,
I can't wait to begin!
